- Position (Job title): Profitability Optimization Head
- Position profile: IT & telecommunications
- Responsibilities: VIVACOM is seeking a data mining and predictive analytics expert to stand at the head of a team.
The position requires a person who has interest and a strong background in statistical analysis, predictive modeling, identifying business requirements and managing cross-functional projects. Profitability Optimization Head will manage the whole analytics process: starting with requirements gathering and analysis, implementation and post implementation support of statistical models.- Analyze and interpret various types of data to development and implementation predictive models according to the products, services and tariff plans on the market
- Liaise with different business units, understand their requirements and provide the necessary information based on the developed statistical models for achieving strategic goals
- Gather, develop and own business requirements, ensure they are successfully delivered according to the approved plan
- Develop predictive statistical models based on solid knowledge of the business processes, the business specifics and the strategic goals
- Coordinate the implementation and conduction of acceptance tests of the developed analytical models
- Validate the results of developed models and control the achievement of the goals
- Provide information according to the reporting requirements of the different business units
- Revise developed models in certain period according to changed parameters and requirements
- Apply the good practices to multivariate statistical analysis (linear & logistic regression, categorical analysis, cluster analysis, statistical sampling, decision trees, multidimensional scaling, etc.)
- Requirements:
- Bachelor or Master degree in Statistic, Math or similar discipline
- Minimum 3 years of professional experience in the area of statistic and preparing analytical models
- Proficient in work with R and Data Mining instruments (SPSS, Statistica, SAS, SAP)
- Knowledge of all phases of the project life cycle: gathering of requirements, design, development, implementation and maintenance
- Experience with developing business requirements, preparing and conducting acceptance tests for users
- Knowledge of Telecommunications
- Practical SQL knowledge for completing data analysis tasks
- Effective multitasking skills for work in short terms
- Very good problems solving skills
- Excellent organization and communication skills
